Who are you supporting? Students! We participate in a variety of competitions revolving around the design, construction, and operation of robotic technology. More importantly, G3 promotes robotics and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education within the Grady Cluster and the broader Atlanta community. As an Atlanta Public School, we have limited resources and must depend on the generosity of sponsors, donors and our community to continue our team’s success. We are:
- Strengthening your company reputation in the community
Creating a pipeline for interns and future employees
Rich employee volunteer opportunities - we always need mentors!
Motivating young people to pursue opportunities in science and engineering
Our Sponsors can also expect to be featured and promoted in many, well-attended community events featured here:
FLL Qualifying Tournament & Jr. FLL Competition and Showcase hosts more than 700 metro-Atlanta students, their families, teachers, and community volunteers.
Drones for Good (DFG): metro area middle school teams and their supporters engage in a 6-week design, build and flight STEM challenge exploring the quickly emerging field of UAV technology and its potential applications for social good.
G3 maintains a strong presence at many events in our community:
Maker Faire Atlanta
Fernbank Museum of Natural History Robots Day
Pullman Yard Showcase
‘Introduce a Girl to Engineering’ at Georgia Tech
The Machine Learning Conference Atlanta
F3 Expo at The Georgia Dome and Georgia World Congress Center
Habitat for Humanity build days
Children's Museum of Atlanta science outreach days
Science Nights at local elementary schools
Four FRC regional competitions attended by thousands of students, parents, and STEM enthusiasts.
In 2015, G3 advanced to the FIRST World Championships at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, representing the top 5% of all robotics teams in the world. This event draws thousands of kids, parents, sponsors, and celebrities from more than 60 countries. With your help, we plan to return and WIN!
